Brookfield Parents Association (BPA)

Brookfield Parents Association

What is the Brookfield Parents Association?

The Brookfield Parents Association (BPA) does several things to assist in the social, educational, and fundraising needs of our students. First and foremost, we show our children that we value their education and we want to be involved in it.  We organize and sponsor holiday parties and events, we fundraise to provide the principals with the money needed to give our children opportunities, we provide money for field trips and club events, and we provide the funding for programs such as the Warrior Academy and the STEAM Programs as well as scholarships to our graduating seniors.  This is all for the kids, grades K-12!  We are involved at every level and are adding to our involvement each year!

How do you join?

The BPA is open to any parent, legal guardian, grandparent, or family member of any enrolled student of Brookfield Local Schools as well as teachers or staff who wish to join.  Please fill out an application that is available at the open house, in the office, from the link below, or come to one of our monthly meetings!  We do ask that you attend at least two (2) meetings during the year to stay active as a member.  The state requires anyone wishing to volunteer in the school to have a BCI background check on file. During our first BPA meeting, you can get or renew your BCI Clearance. A fee will be required (payable by check or cash), and you will need to bring in your valid photo ID.  This clearance will be good for 5 years.

The BPA holds monthly open meetings to discuss upcoming events and requests received for funding. If you cannot attend a meeting, then please follow us on Facebook where the minutes will be posted after each meeting.  There are also other ways to support our schools if you cannot attend!  We hold two (2) major fundraisers a year (one in the fall and one in the spring) to raise funds for our students' field trips and programs.
